Phones with full QWERTY keyboards, either real or virtual (on touch screen phones) have continued to grow in popularity. These phones basically fall into two categories: smartphones & quick messaging phones. Smartphones (or PDA) are converged communication and organization devices, usually with an operating system. These devices usually have larger display screens for easier web browsing and the ability to store thousands of pieces of personal and business contact information. Quick messaging phones are usually smaller and have a form factor that makes it easy to do two things well: Send text messages and make phone calls.
