HTC Launches Hot Deals Program

It appears that HTC is jumpstarting the holiday season. Starting today, HTC is launching its Hot Deals program, a promo that will allow customers to purchase an HTC device for a discounted price.

The program works like this: for the next nine weeks, HTC will feature a Hot Deal every Tuesday at 9 AM Pacific time (that is 12 noon Eastern time). The Hot Deal of the week will come with a discounted price, and maybe even come with a discounted accessory.

To make things more exciting, the weekly Hot Deals will only be available in limited capacity. This means that if you are interested in availing of the week's Hot Deal, you will need to act fast before supplies are gone.

For this week's Hot Deal, HTC has featured the recently released Nexus 9 tablet (16 gigabyte edition). The Taiwanese phone maker is offering the device at only half its retail price, which would put it at $200.

But just as mentioned earlier, the offer is very, very limited. As a matter of fact, as of this writing, the $200 Nexus 9 tablet offer has already been gobbled up by quick-drawing buyers of the Internet. HTC then proceeded to offering the Nexus 9 with $50 off, but that offer has been gobbled up too. 

If you check HTC's Hot Deals page right now, you will see a notification suggesting you come back next Tuesday at 9 AM Pacific Time / 12 Noon Eastern Time for another installment of the weekly holiday hot deals.

Those who missed this week's Hot Deal will just have to wait for next week's offer. HTC has helpfully created a hash tag (#HTCHOTDEALS) so that users can follow updates or more importantly, be reminded of next week's offer.

The Desire 820 is the first Android smartphone that supports 64-bit processors. And self-portrait addicts will no doubt be watching out for the HTC Desire Eye smartphone in the Hot Deals promo. It is being positioned as the selfie smartphone, with loads of features designed to indulge every user's inner narcissist.
