About Samsung Galaxy S7

Announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, the Samsung Galaxy S7 comes as a successor to one of the most successful smartphone lines. The device sports a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a 1440X2560 resolution and 577ppi index. US models of the Galaxy S7 will be available with a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 SOC while the international model houses an Octa-Core Exynos 8890 SOC chip. Both processors are paired with 4GB of RAM, the ARM Mali-T880MP14 GPU, and 32GB of onboard storage. A microSD card slot is available for up to 200GB memory expansion. The back of the device is home to a 12MP camera sensor with a 4K UHD video recording capability while the front has a 5MP sensor. Other notable features of the Galaxy S7 include its IP68 water resistance rating, an “Always-on” display feature, and Samsung Pay support. The back of the device is where the non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery can be found with support for Fast Wireless Charging. Upon release, the Galaxy S7 will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be available in Gold, White, Black, and Silver color options.
