About this Plan

The T-Mobile Simple Choice Plan is an individual or family cell phone plan offered by T-Mobile that offers unlimited minutes, data, and text messaging, and does not require a contract. T-Mobile also allows customers on this plan to receive a phone for little to no down payment, and then pay off the phone over 24 months with small monthly payments.

This plan also offers Unlimited 4G LTE data and 14GB Smartphone Mobile HotSpot data.

Unlike other carriers, however, T-Mobile will not charge overage fees when customers surpass their monthly data allotment. Instead, the data the customer receives after the threshold is met is slowed down. T-Mobile also offers free unlimited international data and texting in over 140 countries worldwide and unlimited international texting from the United States to almost anywhere in the world*. The T-Mobile Simple Choice Plan also offers everyone on the plan unlimited calling from the USA to international landlines in over 70 countries around the world for $5 per month. For $10 per month, all members of the plan get unlimited calling to mobile phones in more than 30 countries, and 1,000 minutes to cell phones in Mexico, and this includes the landline calling to 70+ countries worldwide.

T-Mobile now offers a bonus called Mobile Without Borders which allows Simple Choice subscribers to use their phone in Canada and Mexico just like they would in the United States, at no additional charge for calls, texts, or data.

This plan allows customers to call other T-Mobile customers at no additional charge, as long as they are in the United States.

Binge On

This plan offers Binge On, which allows customers to stream unlimited video from a variety of services such as Netflix, YouTube, HBO NOW, Hulu, and many more without it counting towards your data limit.

Unlimited Music Streaming Services via Music Freedom

This plan allows customers to enjoy unlimited music streaming with apps such as Apple Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Rhapsody, Slacker, Spotify, Milk Music, and more, and the data used to stream these services does not count against your 4G LTE data limit.

Free In-flight texting

T-Mobile Simple Choice customers enjoy free in-flight text messaging.

Free Roaming and Long Distance in the United States

The plan offers unlimited free roaming and long distance calling to long distance numbers in the United States, as long as the customer is also in the United States.
