Discover, one of the major credit card companies, has pulled their Discover More line of credit cards from the market, and launched a new line of credit cards called the Discover it cards. The Discover it line of credit cards is, according to Discover, "out to change the way people think about credit cards." After reviewing the terms and benefits of each new Discover it card, it is clear that Discover has introduced a great new line of credit cards. The Discover it line of credit cards includes three new cards: 2 variations of the Discover it Card, and the Discover it for Students Card.
Here is a brief summary to each of the new Discover it Cards:
- Discover it Card - The new Discover it Card is great for balance transfers, purchases, and cash back. With the Discover it Card, cardholders earn 5% cash back on restaurants and movies through the end of March on up to $1,500 in purchases and 1% cash back on all other purchases. In addition, there is no annual fee to have the card, no foreign transaction fee, no pay-by-phone fee, and no late fee on your first late payment. If you do happen to pay late, Discover will not increase your APR. The Discover it Card also features a Cashback Concierge that gives cardholders free customized online tours to help them capitalize on their rewards points. Lastly, the Discover it Card offers a 0% Introductory APR on both purchases and balance transfers for 14 months. After the 14 months, the APR reverts to the variable purchase APR between 10.99% and 20.99%.
