Former Boost Mobile founder unveils new MVNO called MobileX
Earlier this week, Boost Mobile founder, Peter Adderton, revealed something that he has been working on for quite some time now under his new company, Mobile X Global. According to his announcement, he is working on a new mobile brand called MobileX.
The new mobile brand also signed a network partnership with Verizon Wireless. Through this, MobileX can “deliver personalized services and individualized plans for wireless customers.”
One thing that Adderton stressed about MobileX is that it will be more than just an MVNO. In the first place, MobileX does not offer rate plans for customers to choose from. Instead, customers can get a personalized plan based on his usage through the XO.1 platform built by Mobile X Global.
With this key feature, customers do not have to pick out an unlimited plan that they don’t really need. They simply have to pay for the data they use and need.
MobileX also gives its users a chance to switch across global networks while using the same number and service. The best part about this is that they don’t have to worry about incurring data roaming charges.
Much is unknown about MobileX at this point but more information should be revealed as it nears its launch date. It is said to debut in the country in the early part of 2022.
