Here are all the phones that are ready for Verizon’s 5G Nationwide network
Earlier this week, Verizon made headlines with its new milestone. The wireless carrier was able to break data barrier speeds with its 5.06Gbps data speed. This is all thanks to Verizon’s newly expanded mmWave 5G network and its 5G Nationwide network.
Although Verizon’s mmWave 5G network does not have a reach as wide as T-Mobile’s, it’s latest accomplishment shows that Verizon is capable of penetrating buildings and reaching areas that are too far from its towers.
Soon enough, Verizon customers will be able to enjoy these speeds too. And as Verizon continues to expand its 5G coverage, they have also updated certain devices to support this network. Last week, Verizon already updated select Samsung 5G-capable devices. And the latest iPhone models will likely get support out of the box. The good news is that the wireless carrier is rolling out support for other Android 5G models too.
Once the update is ready, here is a list of the devices that will soon have support for Verizon’s 5G Nationwide network:
-
LG V60 5G UW
-
LG Velvet 5G UW
-
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G UW
-
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW
-
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G
-
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G
-
Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW
-
Samsung Galaxy S20+
-
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G
-
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Verizon will be rolling out the update for these phones in the coming days, except for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. But it won’t take long until more devices will have support for the network too.
