T-Mobile hosting virtual scavenger hunt with OnePlus
T-Mobile has just revealed that it is hosting a virtual scavenger hunt. This giveaway is in partnership with OnePlus as a way of celebrating T-Mobile’s 5G network coverage.
From today until November 19th, you have a chance to be one of the three grand prize winners of a OnePlus 8T+ 5G smartphone with a custom ZHC drawing and $5,000 cash. One hundred second prize winners will also win a OnePlus 8T+ 5G phone. Meanwhile, 300 third prize winners will get a free OnePlus Buds Z truly wireless earbuds. This means that there will be roughly 403 winners in total.
The virtual scavenger hunt will let you look for the locations of three OnePlus pop-up stores in the country that have T-Mobile’s 5G coverage. The wireless carrier will be sharing a few hints, riddles, and images on their official Twitter account. The hints will have something to do with the locations they want you to find. More clues will be shared every day until November 19th.
As for the first hint, T-Mobile already tweeted this:
“You might have an easier time panning for gold than finding our pop-up. #OnePlusGoFarther.”
If you would like to make a guess, you have to click on the map on OnePlusGoFarther.com where the mystery location of the hidden pop-up will be.
The contest is open to all US residents aged 18 years old and above. You don’t even need to be a T-Mobile customer or use a OnePlus device in order to join the contest.
