Preordered Sony Xperia Z3 Phones From T-Mobile Arriving Ahead Of Official Launch Date

It appears that T-Mobile has a habit of shipping preordered smartphones ahead of their launch dates. It certainly did happen more than a week ago when several consumers reported having gotten their preordered Samsung Galaxy Note 4 units sooner than expected. Now, it is happening again to preordered Sony Xperia Z3 phones.

T-Mobile had started welcoming preorders for the Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone just last week. But it turns out that some of those who preordered their Xperia Z3 units are already receiving the devices as of now. Considering that the Xperia Z3 is not expected to be officially available until its October 29th release date, getting the handset now is definitely an early treat for fans of the device. Mind you, that is a full 5 days ahead of just about everyone else. 

Also, those who preordered the device would also get a free copy of DRIVECLUB for the PS4. If you have not preordered the Xperia Z3 from T-Mobile yet, you have until October 28th to do so, and in the process, get a free PS4 game. Once you receive your Xperia Z3, you can redeem your offer by entering your contact information, and presenting/uploading your sales receipt and the IMEI number of your Xperia Z3's box. Later on, you can claim your DRIVECLUB (via a promo code emailed to you after verification) not later than November 21st. 

But wait -- why include a PS4 game at all? Well, the Xperia Z3 will soon be able to stream PS4 games from the console to the handset. When paired with the controller deck, you will definitely have more uninterrupted game time (no need to worry about trips to the bathroom interrupting you while you are playing). 

DRIVECLUB aside, the Sony Xperia Z3 phone is a wonder to behold. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p resolution display screen and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera. Hardware-wise, the Xperia Z3 features a 2.6 GigaHertz Snapdragon 801 processor, plus 16 gigabytes of internal storage and 3 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM). The device is also powered by a 3,100 mAh battery, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Furthermore, the device has the distinction of having unequalled water- and dust-proofing qualities. As a matter of fact, the Xperia Z3 has an IP65 and IP68 certification for waterproofing, which means it can be submerged underwater for 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters.
