T-Mobile offering 3rd line for free to new and current subscribers
T-Mobile is running a promotion that’s great for those who plan to get a family or group plan.
Earlier today, T-Mobile unveiled that it will be giving a free third line to both new and existing customers. This promotion is called “2019 Sprint Into Summer 3rd Line on Us” and is currently available in all T-Mobile retail locations and on their website.
In order to get the free line, you will need to activate three new voice lines under T-Mobile’s ONE plan. The third line will be free. Current subscribers may also get the free third line as long as they already have an active T-Mobile ONE voice line. If the account is under a different plan, the user must switch to T-Mobile ONE. The next task is to activate two more voice lines under the plan to get the free third line.
T-Mobile will send you a text message confirming that you have successfully qualified for the promotion. The bill credit for the free line will appear on your monthly invoice within the next two months. If you do not see the credit on your first statement, it will show up as a double credit on the next invoice.
If you are interested in signing up for this promotion, you have to make sure that you keep your accounts “in good standing”. You also cannot cancel any line within one year from sign up date. Otherwise, the bill credit will be gone. After one year, the two paid voice lines need to be retained and activate in order to keep getting the bill credits.
The promotion is only applicable for the basic T-Mobile ONE plan. If you decide to sign up the third line to T-Mobile ONE Plus, the difference between the two plans will need to be paid.
This promotion is only available for a limited time period, although there is no mention of an end date.
