Users Discover Verizon Loophole for $10/Month Discount

Earlier this week, users on Slickdeals and Reddit were able to discover a loophole in Verizon’s system. Thanks to this, you can get up to $120 off on your plan for an entire year.
So this isn’t a promotion that Verizon advertises. In fact, it may not be available anymore since it was first reported. But as shared by PhoneArena, you can get a $10 monthly discount on your plan when you make Verizon think that you are getting ready to port out your number.
All you have to do is open your My Verizon app, go to “Edit Profile and Settings”, and tap on “Number Lock” under “Security.” Once you switch off this feature, Verizon’s system will think that you are preparing to get a Number Transfer Pin. It will then try to stop you from leaving its network by sending you a $10 per month discount.
It’s important to note that there’s no guarantee when you’ll receive this discount in your email. Some users have reportedly received an email within a few minutes or hours. Meanwhile, there are others who received it within two days. But you can keep an eye out for an email.
After that, you can start getting the $10 per month discount, which totals to $120 for an entire year. When you’re done, remember to enable Number Lock again so you can secure your account.
