Verizon unveils 5G coverage map
Yesterday, it was revealed that Verizon had launched its 5G coverage in three new cities. Now for the first time ever, Big Red has published its coverage map for the 18 cities that have received 5G coverage.
The coverage map was originally discovered by PCMag. When you open their website, you can choose from the different cities where 5G is already available. Upon clicking on the city, you can get a clearer picture of the neighborhoods and landmarks where 5G is already available. You can even zoom in closer to get a better look at where the coverage really is.
When you access the map, you will see a dark red color and some pink color surrounding it. The dark red color indicates Verizon’s 5G service is available in that area. Meanwhile, the pink is covered by 4G LTE.
Verizon has been busy launching its 5G wireless network since April 2019. Their goal is to reach 30 cities with 5G coverage before the year ends. Right now, they already have 18 cities covered by 5G. They only need 12 more to complete their goal.
