Discover Announces New 5% Q2 Cash Back Categories for the Discover it Card

Today Discover announced the new 5% cash back categories for Discover it cardholders. The Discover it Card offers a 5% Cash Back Bonus® to all cardholders in categories that rotate each quarter throughout the year. The Discover it Card will reward cardholders with 5% cash back on up to $1,500 on all dollars spent at home improvement stores between April 1st and June 30th, 2013.

Discover it cardholders can enroll in the new home improvement store cash back program on March 1st, 2013. The current 5% cash back category is for all purchases made at restaurants and movie theaters, and this bonus is active through the end of March.
