When T-Mobile unveiled its two new offerings under its Home Internet service, it also announced that it would start verifying the addresses of its existing customers. The Un-carrier planned to roll this out together with the new Away plan on May 8th. But it turns out that this will be pushed to a later date.
Both the release of the Away plan and address verification will now be delayed to later this year. The Mobile Report obtained an internal document detailing this delay. However, T-Mobile did not fully go into details why they decided to do this. Additionally, a new rollout date has not yet been announced. But T-Mobile assures its customers that the address verification will definitely be happening.
