T-Mobile Answers Customers Over Price Lock Terms

After its price hike announcement, T-Mobile has been on the news over disgruntled customers. There have been reports that the customers planned to file an FCC complaint for the carrier’s violation of its Price Lock guarantee. After these reports surfaced, users shared a response that the Un-carrier sent them.
The Mobile Report shared T-Mobile’s response, which points out that Price Lock covers customers from April 28, 2022 to January 17, 2024. These customers are not affected by the price hike. But what about those outside of those dates?
According to the report, the Un-carrier made changes to its Price Lock terms on January 18, 2024. This new term states that customers who are affected by a price hike can cancel their plan and have the Un-carrier pay off their previous bill.
Unfortunately, neither terms cover the customers who opened an account before April 28, 2022, and these are the customers most affected by the price hike. The problem here is that some of the customers are affected and others are not.
Hopefully, T-Mobile addresses this concern soon since the affected customers are considering filing a complaint against the carrier.
