Verizon’s 5G Nationwide now covers total of 230 million people
Verizon has expanded its 5G coverage to more areas in the US. According to their release, they have expanded both their low-band and mmWave coverage in the country.
For their low-band 5G coverage, Verizon’s 5G Nationwide network now covers a total of 230 million people. Today’s addition brings 25 million more people under the coverage in certain areas of Central Texas, Tulsa, OK, New England, and Upstate New York.
This means that Verizon’s 5G Nationwide now covers over 2,700 cities.
With regards to their millimeter wave 5G network, Verizon has expanded coverage to four new cities: Durham, Albuquerque, St. Petersburg, and Tampa. The newly added cities bring the total of Verizon-mmWave covered cities to 61.
Of course, connectivity will depend on the area you are in. You can check Verizon’s coverage map to learn more about their networks.
