Verizon Prepaid now offering 5G ultra-wideband support on new plan
Verizon has just included its 5G ultra-wideband support for its prepaid customers.
Recently, the wireless carrier announced a new $75/month unlimited data plan that comes with 5G ultra-wideband support. This is the only Verizon plan that includes 5G ultra-wideband support. With this, data speeds are a lot faster than LTE data.
In addition to 5G ultra-wideband support, the plan comes with unlimited talk, text, and data. It also comes with free talk, text, and data roaming in Mexico and Canada. The plan also comes with international roaming but the speed is reduced to 2G data once the user goes over 0.5GB of data in a day. It also includes international texting to 200 international countries at no extra cost.
In areas where 5G ultra-wideband network is available, users can enjoy unlimited mobile hotspot. The areas where this network is not available limits mobile hotspot to 10GB at full speed before throttling to a maximum 600Kbps data speed.
The good thing about this plan is that it supports Verizon’s customer loyalty discounts. With autopay billing enrollment, the price of the plan gets reduced as the months progress. On the second month of service, the plan goes down to $70/month. When you reach 4-9 months, your plan will cost $65/month. And beyond 9 months, your plan will cost $60/month.
You can check Verizon’s coverage map to see if your area is serviced by their ultra-wideband network, which is now available in over 60 cities.
