While it runs on Android software, the Blackphone 2 comes with a proprietary Silent OS platform that includes a series of secure apps to ensure encrypted voice calls and messages. The phone is home to a 5MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear-facing camera that helps capture memorable photos in a stunning fashion. Another welcomed change to the Blackphone 2 is its improved 3060mAh battery from the previous generation’s 2000mAh battery. It even adds quick charging capability, thanks to Quick Charge 2.0.
