Report: Verizon could launch three unlimited plans with 5G access
There are reports that Verizon could be launching three new Unlimited plans real soon. If they don’t manage to launch these three plans, the reports suggest that Big Red could be rehashing its Unlimited plans.
The report comes from Droid-Life, who managed to investigate the company’s plans. According to their research, Verizon’s new plans could be called Do, Play, and More Unlimited. These plans are said to cover Verizon’s 5G service that is already available in select areas throughout the country.
These plans are not exclusively for 5G customers, but they do cover 5G service. This can be compared to the currently available Above and Beyond Unlimited plans that Verizon offers. The latter plans are only eligible for use with 5G data speeds.
As noted on the screenshot image, Verizon could be charging $10 per month and credit for 5G access. Right now, there’s no other information available on these three unlimited plans that Verizon will offer in the future. But it’s good to know that these plans are coming soon.
