As more and more countries start to shift to 5G networks, a group of wireless carriers have teamed up to develop interoperable specifications as a standard for 5G around the world. The 5G Future Forum was founded by América Móvil, KT, Rogers, Telstra, Verizon, and Vodafone.

Verizon launches $60 a month unlimited plan in Florida for users at least 55 years old

The number one wireless carrier in America is launching a new plan in the state of Florida that offers one line of service with unlimited data for $60 a month, or a couple of lines for $80 a month. The said plan is only made available to mobile users are who 55 years old or older. While it is true that the Verizon Wireless is only offering the plan in the Sunshine State as of the moment, the carrier, however, is open to the idea of expanding the deal to other states some time in the future.

Report: Unlimited Data Users Have Fewer Network Issues Than Tiered Plan Subscribers

According to a report recently released by research firm JD Power, consumers who are subscribers of unlimited data plans are likely to report less network problems as compared to customers under tiered wireless plans. In its report, JD Power is showing that those unlimited data users encounter an average of 11 total network quality issues for every 100 connections.
