Yesterday, it was revealed that Verizon had launched its 5G coverage in three new cities. Now for the first time ever, Big Red has published its coverage map for the 18 cities that have received 5G coverage. 

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has finally made its decision on the pending T-Mobile and Sprint merger. 

According to sources, the government agency has voted to approve the merger between the two carriers. 

Throughout the year, the big four carriers in the country have concentrated their efforts on launching their own 5G networks. Now, it looks like U.S. Cellular is joining in on the party. 

Samsung has just gained new recognition for its Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ devices. According to the Wi-Fi Alliance, the smartphone is the first to get certification for Wi-Fi 6, the latest standard in connected technology. 

T-Mobile seems to be doing its best to entice customers to switch over to their network. For starters, the company has launched a free 30-day hotspot Test Drive offer exclusively for non-T-Mobile customers to experience their network. Another way the company is expanding eSIM support to its postpaid users.

Earlier this week, the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G was unveiled. It was introduced as the first smartphone to support sub-6 GHz FDD 5G for both T-Mobile and AT&T. 

AT&T and CBS are currently undergoing a dispute over TV channel broadcasting throughout the country. As the events unfold, each company have released their own side of the story on why the carrier is no longer offering any of the CBS-owned channels in its 17 markets. 

There are reports that Verizon could be launching three new Unlimited plans real soon. If they don’t manage to launch these three plans, the reports suggest that Big Red could be rehashing its Unlimited plans. 

AT&T will soon be offering the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G smartphone but there’s a catch. Upon launch, only business customers and developers can get their hands on the AT&T powered Galaxy S10 5G smartphone.

Sprint is the latest US carrier to launch its 5G service in the country. The carrier joins the likes of Verizon and AT&T, who have launched their own networks this year.
