Delta will soon offer Free Wi-Fi in select flights thanks to T-Mobile partnership
T-Mobile has partnered with Delta Air Lines for an exciting offer for travelers.
According to its announcement, passengers on board select Delta Air Lines flights will have access to free Wi-Fi. The best part about this announcement is that the perk is available to AT&T and Verizon Wireless customers too.
T-Mobile’s CEO, Mike Sievert, said in the announcement:
“At T-Mobile, we believe staying connected while traveling should be an easy, seamless experience. T-Mobile customers already get free in-flight Wi-Fi, and now we’re partnering with Delta to bring that experience to all SkyMiles Members so that anyone flying Delta can enjoy online access from takeoff to touchdown.”
Most domestic flights by Delta will start offering the free Wi-Fi perk starting February 1, 2023. The two companies aim to offer the perk to over 700 aircrafts by the end of the year. International flights will then follow and start offering free Wi-Fi in 2024.
