Metro by T-Mobile joins #5GforAll program
Metro by T-Mobile is giving people more reason to switch to 5G.
Earlier this week, the T-Mobile prepaid brand announced that it will be offering a free 5G phone trade-in as part of T-Mo’s #5GforAll campaign. Through this campaign, anyone can switch to Metro by T-Mobile and get a discounted unlimited plan. Plus, they can get a free 5G phone with their device trade-in (even old flip phones).
The unlimited plan available in this offer regularly costs $50/month. But with this offer in place, you can enjoy it at $25/month with unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data with 5G included. Taxes and fees are already included.
Metro by T-Mobile’s plan is a far better option compared to its competitors, especially since it already comes with 5G connectivity. Cricket Wireless has a similar plan that costs $60/month. Meanwhile, Boost Mobile’s unlimited plan does not yet come with 5G connectivity.
“Our smartphones are our lifelines, and yet a generation of prepaid customers are being left behind in the 5G era by providers and plans that keep them locked on old technology and slow, over-priced connections. If Cricket or Boost won’t upgrade their customers to 5G, Metro by T-Mobile sure will,” T-Mobile Consumer Group Executive Vice President Jon Freier said. “At Metro by T-Mobile, we put customers first. The biggest 5G network at half the price of Boost or Cricket, unlimited data with 5G included AND a free 5G phone? Talk about an easy upgrade.”
