T-Mobile giving away free Samsung Galaxy A32 5G smartphone to postpaid customers
This week, T-Mobile hosted an Un-Carrier event to discuss its plans to bring #5GforAll. Among the plans it discussed was to distribute free 5G smartphones to postpaid customers who trade-in an old device. T-Mobile calls this as their Great Free 5G Phone Upgrade promotion.
If you are interested in upgrading to a 5G smartphone, you will need to trade-in your old working device. The promotion is applicable to both new and existing customers. T-Mobile says they will even accept flip phones. Once you meet the criteria, you can get your hands on a free Samsung Galaxy A32 5G.
In addition to the Galaxy A32 5G, T-Mobile will also accept trade-ins for the Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. But unlike the Galaxy A32 5G, the trade-in offer for the Apple devices will only be available until May 1st. The Samsung Galaxy A32 5G offer will last the entire year.
To trade-in to an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 mini, you will need to check the following conditions:
-
Apple iPhone 12 – Free with trade-in of iPhone 11
-
Apple iPhone 12 – 50% off with trade-in of most older iPhone models (iPhone 7 through iPhone X)
-
Apple iPhone 12 mini – 50% off with trade-in of any older iPhone (works with iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 models too)
T-Mobile’s Great Free 5G Phone Upgrade offer is not yet live. It will begin on April 18th.
