Verizon brings Nokia 2720 Flip to the US
HMD Global first revealed the revamped Nokia 2720 Flip in 2019. But when the device first came out, it was not available in the US yet. Fortunately, it looks like that’s about to change real soon.
Thanks to Verizon, the Nokia 2720 Flip is making its way to the US’ shores. Once the device becomes available, you’ll be able to bring back the experience of using a flip phone to pick up or end a call.
But of course, you’ll have to adjust to the experience of using a tiny 2.8-inch screen once again. When you close the device, there’s an even smaller display on the outside that tells you who’s calling and lets you check your notifications.
As a feature phone, the Nokia 2720 Flip comes with 4G connectivity, a web browser, and Google Assistant. It doesn’t have background apps, which means its battery can last longer than a typical smartphone.
You can pick up this feature phone from Verizon starting May 20 for $80 via Verizon’s online store or their My Verizon app.
