T-Mobile Implementing Priority Data Limit to All Home Internet Users
Earlier this year, T-Mobile announced that it will be implementing a priority data limit on its Home Internet users. The limit was first imposed on the plans of new users. Once they go over the limit, their data will be deprioritized in times of network congestion.
Unfortunately, T-Mobile is extending this limit to other Home Internet users. Starting April 10, 2024, all Home Internet users now have a priority data limit.
The Mobile Report shared an internal document that discussed more about this new priority data rule. The document states that “when a customer uses more than 1.2TB within a billing cycle, they may encounter reduced speeds during periods of network congestion.”
Are you a Home Internet user? What do you think about this new data limit that T-Mobile is implementing?
