Verizon makes changes to device installment policy

There’s a new change that has taken place at Verizon.
This week, Big Red quietly changed its monthly installment policy on its plans. Instead of having the option to choose from 24 or 30 monthly installments, customers can make 36 monthly payments on their new device purchases.
For some customers, this may sound like positive news– after all, it lets them own the latest smartphone models at a low monthly fee. But for some, it only means they will have to stay locked into their accounts for a longer period of time. If you don’t plan on changing carriers anytime soon, this doesn’t sound like a problem.
