Mint Mobile adds more data without raising prices
Mint Mobile customers, you’re in for a surprise! The T-Mobile MVNO is increasing the data allotment on its plans without raising their prices.
Starting April 14, 2023, Mint Mobile’s plans will now look like this:
-
$15 per month - now comes with 5GB of LTE/5G data (from 4GB)
-
$20 per month - now comes with 15GB of LTE/5G data (from 10GB)
-
$25 per month - now comes with 20GB of LTE/5G data (from 15GB)
-
$30 per month - now comes with 40GB of LTE/5G data and 10GB of hotspot data (from 35GB of LTE/5G data and 5GB of hotspot data)
This is for both new and existing Mint Mobile customers. For existing customers, the carrier says there’s no need to take any action, enroll, or register your plan. Once your plan resets after April 14, it will automatically include the new data boost.
A Twitter user shared a screenshot of the email sent by Mint Mobile:
“Starting 4/14, we’re increasing the amount of data on your plan – and just like last time we did it, at no cost to you. There’s nothing you need to do … except get ready to have more data for curating playlists, binging new shows and upping your selfie game. Your upgrade will go into effect when your monthly data refreshes after 4/14.”
This is the latest news from Mint Mobile ever since T-Mobile announced its plans to acquire it.
