US Wireless Carriers Response to Ongoing Maui Fires

The ongoing wildfires on the island of Maui have already brought so much destruction to its residents. And as of this writing, there are already 55 confirmed deaths from the tragedy. Not only that, thousands are being evacuated from their homes.

As a way of helping its customers, the US carriers have announced how they are helping out.

Here’s how the US carriers are helping its customers in Maui:

AT&T

AT&T has decided to waive overage fees for both prepaid and postpaid customers located in the impacted areas. During this period, these customers can enjoy unlimited calls, texts, and data usage without any concerns about additional charges until August 16th.

Google Fi

Google Fi patrons will see a $20 credit applied to their bill, determined by the billing zip code on record. This credit is being extended as a support measure.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is generously offering unlimited talk, text, and data to its non-unlimited plan customers residing within specified zip codes. This offer will be valid from August 10th to 14th.

Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless is similarly stepping up by providing limitless calls, texts, and data to its customers with a billing address in Maui. This inclusive offer will be accessible from August 10th to 23rd.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the wildfires.
