Verizon Wireless unveiled a new consolidated platform where users can access all their streaming services in one place. Through the +play platform, users can access and manage their subscriptions.

Verizon Wireless has sent out a letter to its 3G customers to make the upgrade now. This is because the company has already set a date when they will shut down their CDMA network.

To start with, the company is welcoming a new concierge service that they will be releasing on a trial period. The other change is the new NFL+ service that will be added on Verizon +play platform.

It was previously reported in June 2022 that Total Wireless is undergoing rebranding efforts by Verizon Wireless. This comes after Big Red acquired the prepaid brand. After a few months, it looks like Verizon is getting ready to roll out the new Total by Verizon brand.
This week, Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 14 series of devices. The series contains a total of four models, namely the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. In this iPhone iteration, Apple decided to remove the physical SIM card tray and replace it with eSIM. They also added Emergency SOS via satellite to these phones.
Visible made some changes to its phone plans over the week. Before the change, the Verizon Wireless-owned prepaid brand only had one standard plan: a $40 per month option. With the new change, they now offer a couple of unlimited plans.

This same offer has been available to qualifying postpaid unlimited plan customers for some time now and Big Red decided to extend the offer to prepaid customers.
Verizon has made an addition to its C-band 5G network.
According to Big Red, they rolled out 100MHz of C-band spectrum in different parts of the country. This is expected to improve the 5G speeds and network capacity in select markets. The roll out will also nearly double the existing 60MHz spectrum that has already been deployed in 5G markets.
