T-Mobile Customers Continue to Enjoy Netflix Basic Plan

Earlier this week, Netflix announced that it will be implementing some changes to its plans and pricing. Most importantly, it has decided to put an end to its Basic plan. Since this is the same plan that T-Mobile customers get under the Un-carrier’s Netflix On Us promotion, many were naturally worried that this perk would also stop.
Thankfully, CNET has confirmed that this perk will not be affected. This is because the two companies have an ongoing deal. As such, new and existing T-Mobile customers can continue to use the streaming service’s Basic plan.
Additionally, T-Mobile customers have an option to upgrade to a higher-priced plan and just pay for the difference. In its FAQ page, T-Mobile has also detailed that customers always have the option to go back to the free plan at any time.
