Report: Verizon could be rebranding Visible and Total Wireless
Earlier this week, a couple of TV ads for Visible were spotted with the logo “Visible by Verizon.” This seems to coincide with another report that Verizon is trying to rebrand Total Wireless to “Total by Verizon.”
In addition to spotting the new name on the TV ads, Visible by Verizon has also been seen at other places. One of these sightings was on BestBuy.com. It was also seen on the press release of the 2022 Live Nation Insomniac Festivals.
As for the “Total by Verizon” rebranding, Fierce Wireless reported that Verizon filed a trademark application for the name last April 4th.
With these two reports, it makes a lot of sense that Verizon will be rebranding the brands it owns and make them more harmonious.
“Verizon’s intentions are unclear, but as MetroPCS was transitioned to Metro by T-Mobile, Total Wireless could be transitioned to Total by Verizon,” says Wave7 Research principal, Jeff Moore.
