Get to know more about T-Mobile’s Phone Freedom move
T-Mobile held a Phone Freedom event recently where it revealed its newest offerings.
Mainly, the Un-carrier revealed three things: Go5G Plus, Easy Unlock, and Go Back Guarantee. There’s also the limited Essentials Savings plan offer that T-Mo unveiled at the event. Here are the new offers in more detail:
Go5G Plus
To start with, T-Mobile unveiled a new plan called Go5G Plus, which will reportedly replace the Magenta plans that T-Mo has in place.
In its announcement, T-Mobile revealed that the new Go5G Plus plan will give customers an option to upgrade their phone every two years instead of three years. It also comes with more hotspot data and other perks.
Easy Unlock
The next announcement T-Mobile made is Easy Unlock, a new way for AT&T and Verizon customers to switch to T-Mo’s network. With this in place, T-Mobile will pay off your locked device and give you a way to trade-in an eligible locked device.
Go Back Guarantee
The Un-carrier also now gives customers a way to try using the service without worrying about getting locked in if you decide it is not right for you.
T-Mobile now gives customers up to 30 days to decide whether they would like to switch back to their old carrier. If you decide T-Mobile is not the right carrier for you, you can still get $50 per voice line to cover the cost of your bill.
And finally, the limited time offer on the Essentials Savings plan lets you use a plan similar to the features of the Essentials plan. But unlike the latter, it costs $10 less on the first line and $5 less on the third and additional lines.
