T-Mobile launches new 5G hotspot device and plans
Earlier today, T-Mobile revealed its newest product, a 5G hotspot device called Inseego 5G MiFi M2000. With this new product, T-Mobile subscribers will have access to their 5G nationwide coverage on their Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
The M2000 has a 2.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen that displays signal strength and battery. From within, the device is powered by a 5050mAh battery that is able to last up to 24 hours on a single charge. It comes with support for Wi-Fi 6 and can connect up to 30 devices simultaneously.
T-Mobile says that the device supports low-band and mid-band 5G. Unfortunately, their mmWave 5G support is limited to the parts of cities where it is available.
The hotspot device costs $336, but you can get it at $0 down and $14/month for a total of 24 months. For a limited time period, you can get the device at half of its price when you add a new line of service.
Along with the new hotspot device, T-Mobile has launched four new hotspot data plans with 5G support. These are the new plans:
-
$20/month plan - 5GB
-
$30/month plan - 10GB
-
$40/month plan - 30GB
-
$50/month plan - 100GB
The new plans will be available starting Sunday, December 13.
